GET OUT OF DEBT!

If you're drowning in debt, there's a pit at the bottom of your stomach that never goes away. It's next to impossible to think that you can start on the road to financial freedom with this heavy weight on you.

You also can't start teaching your children how to be financially responsible if they see you handling money and credit cards in a disrespectful manner.

Children watch what we do, what we say, and also watch how we solve problems. We are their role models and have a strong influence on their behaviour.

If parent's spending habits are poor, then our children are compelled to have poor spending habits. Children are influenced for the rest of their lives either positively or negatively by our actions.

Children who are not taught how to handle money at an early age will pay the consequences for a life-time.

Chronic spending can be a harmful habit, just like drug addiction or alcoholism. If spending is an escape, or is masking deeper issues, perhaps there is a much larger problem. As with drug and alcohol addictions, consulting a professional or going to Debtors Anonymous might be the first step in turning your addiction around.

Getting out from under a mountain of bad credit and then staying out isn't easy. If you're thinking that it's just impossible to get out from under it, don't despair. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

If you have the desire and don't want your children to follow in your footsteps, you will have the motivation to do it!

The key is to STOP MAKING EXCUSES, start
paying yourself first, and systematically pay off your credit cards and bills.

Here are a few tips (click on first link below) that can help put you on the road to a great financial future:
